Lyn came late to the knitting world, having failed miserably to learn to knit when she was 10. However, she made up for it when her sister Deb taught her to knit at their summer cabin when she was 30. It has somehow grabbed her by the throat and has not let go since. Deb and Lyn started Cabin Fever nearly 20 years ago to write “no-sew” knitting patterns and since 2004, “no-sew” knitting books. Cabin Fever now has over 150 designs and 11 books. Or is it now 12?
Lyn began dyeing yarn about 15 years ago and in 2011 her good friend, Buffy Taylor of Shelridge Farm, decided she wanted to retire and asked Lyn if she’d like to take over for her. Lyn was thrilled. In 2012 Shelridge Farm became Shelridge Yarns.
