You will learn
• Three ways to make the smocking stitch in knitting
• Three ways to bead the smocking stitch
• How to use the smocking stitch in designing garments

Bring – Homework square (see below), crochet hook to go through beads or dental floss threader, beads, tapestry needle, a small amount of contrast yarn in the same gauge.

Homework – With DK weight yarn and recommended needles, Cast on 36sts. Knit 6 rows. Leave stitches on needle.
