Class Description – If you love cables, but don’t love the less than pleasing look of the “wrong” side of your cabled collars, blankets, shawls,and scarves, then you’ll love this class.
We’ll create a sampler of reversible cables made 4 ways and you’ll take away ideas about how to use reversible cables in your future projects.
Complete this class and take the advanced reversible cable class in the afternoon if you want to learn even more.
You will learn –
• 4 different reversible cable creation methods
• how to read a reversible cable chart
Bring – smooth, light-coloured, worsted-weight yarn and 4.5mm needles
Homework – Rib stitch knitting
Cast on 24 stitches with a stretchy cast-on
Row 1 – Knit 2, purl 2 to end. Mark Row 1 as the right side of your work.
Row 2 – Knit the knits and purl the purls.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 for a total of 16 rows.
Leave your stitches on the needles.
